 ideas to three ideas to make midnight better

for the last hr im tried to log in to the puzzle pirates forums and post my thoughts on how to fix midnight

but got frusted instead of logging in there

i decide to post it here so who ever able to log in there and copy and paste my idea there thanks

p.s i thought i would put adding another arch to the exsiting ocean in midnight but Whedonella has beaten me to it Smile

my concept is like this

adding another desert island but with special feature

first off


how to get there
--------------------------

the island is like something like ci but is access to everyone who has chart to it or mem the ip

u can not whisk ur way there nor set it as ur home

the ip routes should be 8-10 ip long [u will see why later]

any stock lost during the way to the island , the island will keep them as its holding for the wining pirate sea battle during an treasure hunt

if the pirates win, they will be given an addition dig for finding treasure


the docks
--------------------------------------

u can only temporally dock there, not perm otherwise ur ship will sink automatic after u log out[if u often dc all the time its better for u go there as a jobber first]

walking around
---------------
once the crew dismark on the island , each jobber can choose to do 3 things

1.leave their jobbing crew and wander alone by themselves in hoping to find the treasue box themsevles
2.leave the current jobbing crew and join another by invition of another team captain who already on the island
3. stick to the end of the trip and hope it may bring them richer beyond their wildest dream

in walking around player might bump into bill the gravekeeper


bill the gravekeeper

bill came frm part unknown and is station at outside his shack all the time
click on bill and u will bring up these buttons

1. ask bill to tell u a history of the island
2. buy an addtional dig
3. buy an brand new shove
4. listen to rumor of the week
5. buy an treasure hint [it could be false cau bill' eyesight is not very good]
6. bribs bill to spread rumors[this optional is avaible if u r the 1st pirate to able to talk to him every week otherwise this button not there]


Time Capsule and shove
------------------------


u should bring along an shove [ can be purchased at blacksmith or frm bill] which by defaut has 5 digs
each dig enable u to dig an hole in ground


if hit an treasre box an message and an sound can be seen and hear repectively
thus brining up an option for the team captain to decide to either leave it or unearth the box

an Time Capsule treasure box [ can be purchased frm furnishing]

u can store items or poe for inside the time capsule treasure box for future usages

the time capsule treasure box came in various size-- small, medium and large



how the poe work
---------------------

the island acts like a bank for those who put poe in it,


it will muitlpiy amount of poe that was orginally there by number of weeks left untouch

for e.g if i were to put let say 10 poe in it

thia is assuming that the chest is left un-touch for the number of weeks

if the owner or someone else decide to dig it up the growth will stop and the TOTAL amount of poe will according to the number of PAST weeks it had been there already.

in other words the longer ur chest remain stay hidden the more poe u will get


safeguarding chests
--------------------


adding secondary optional to safeguarding the time casp chest will be the addtional of buying skeilles, ghouls or/and zombies

each creature cost should be at least 800 poe to 1k and buying in the total of each creature type should be at the most 24-30 [just like a normal skeilles or zombie fray]

the player can choose whether to do the battle on land or at sea, choose what order they want to put the creature in

doing battles on land result in other players face the creature in their own elements of fighting, eg skeilles -
swordfighting


doing battles at sea will result in other players face off the creature in a shp battles the ship that max out 1st WILL sunk

if the other player ship sunk all the goods onboard will spilt randomly to the owner chest [a small portion ] and the rest will add the island total number of goods[ meaning that it snowball everytime a player ship sunk took all the left unused good , give an small percent to that whoever chest got dig up]
till a player shp win the battle.

if even that is so, the island would only give an heatly amount of goods kept not all of it. this is to prevent the next wining ship got nothing.



team captain

the one who command the trip is the team captian and only the team captian decide when start the fray

team captain can invite any pirates directly into the waiting fray if their number are doesn't meet the number of the creature but the invitation should last 1 time per fay pirates and the invited pirate will stop any activity he/she is current doing and will be take into the fray


only the team can decide when to start the battle and will be award the following trophy
1st team captain fray
10 team captain fray
100 team captain fray

team captain of 1st ever sucessful trip
team captain of 10th sucessful trip


ulitmate eite team captain trophy :
team captain of 100th sucessful trip


the rest of the jobber can be award trophy related to the island itself

HOSTAGE !!
----------

if the pirates lose their fight on land one or two randomly pirates will be take hostage [depend how big the group is]



the hostage can do 4 things

1.send an island broadcast to anyone who current at the island tp free them for an fee upon fighting a new batch of creature


2. send an pm to anyone who in the group for help

3.peition an pow message to the om for them to send an ocean wide broadcast under help [delcare urself an pow]

4.do nothing and let the character die out as time pass. this will trigger an graveyeard and ghost and all belonging and poe will be keep in the graveyard till some pirate able to win the battle and take all the belonging



ship will be target!!!

once the team captain decide to go back home, their ship will be attracted a greater percent of enemey ships on the way than they going to the island at the start

its up to the team captain to moviated the crew frm being getting sunk and lose all the stock in the holdings
